It's funny but amongst many creatives mind maps seem a little, er beneath them. That real creatives can somehow manage and edit thoughts internally. Mind maps are for management consultants. Mind maps are for wimps.
Sadly, I have to say here's another backlash, a reality check. Forget lists - too much hierarchy and ranking but good for analysis. Forget random scribbles - good and loose buut too unstructured and inneficient. Mind maps open your mind. Open your minds because mind maps really work.

Go on try it out. Planning a new website? try a Mind map. A new way to work out? Mind map it. Getting married... Kid's birthday... try a mind map. Open your mind.
